Doers
of the Word Bible Fellowship is for people who are serious about reading, studying, meditating, learning, and
doing the Word of God. We want
to be prepared and ready for the coming return of the LORD God Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah.
2 Timothy 2:15Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial),
a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching]
the Word of Truth.
Matthew 24:44You also must be ready therefore, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.
1 Peter 3:15But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense
to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully.
Luke 9:52And He sent messengers before Him; and they reached and entered a Samaritan village to make [things] ready for
Him;
Matthew 25:13Watch therefore [give strict attention and be cautious and active], for you know neither the day nor the hour when
the Son of Man will come.
Matthew 26:41All of you must keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not
come into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Mark 13:5And Jesus began to tell them, Be careful and watchful that no one misleads you [about it].
Mark 13:33Be on your guard [constantly alert], and watch and pray; for you do not know when the time will come.
Mark 13:34It is like a man [ already] going on a journey; when he leaves home, he puts his servants in charge, each with his particular
task, and he gives orders to the doorkeeper to be constantly alert and on the watch.
Ephesians 6:18Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that
end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated
people).
1 Thessalonians 5:6Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and
on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect).
Hebrews 10:24And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir
up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities,
Hebrews 12:15Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails
to secure God's grace (His unmerited favor and spiritual blessing), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness,
or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, and the many become contaminated and defiled by it--
Revelation 3:3So call to mind the lessons you received and heard; continually lay them to heart and obey them, and repent. In case you
will not rouse yourselves and keep awake and watch, I will come upon you like a thief, and you will not know or suspect
at what hour I will come.
